Our adoption journey

This is our journey to adopt our son who has Achondroplasia, the most common form of short stature/dwarfism and lives a half a world away. He has been waiting so long and we are unbelievably humbled to answer God's call. "Here we are Lord! Please lead the way."
John 14:18 "I will not abandon you as orphans, I will come to you."

Second Trimester News - LID FINALLY!!! (all in His time!!)

LID (log in date) is 2/3!! YIPPEE SKIPPY!!! What does this mean you ask?? It means that our Dossier that was sent on 1/27 made it to China & has been logged in to the CCCWA.  It means we are one milestone closer to bringing home our son!!! I was starting to get a little antsy.  I had sent a few emails to my agency, just IN CASE she needed a reminder that I was on the other side of the country (they are in Seattle) WAITING for my date.  I had been praying & praying, & asking others to pray as well...I remembered this:
Matthew 7:7-9 (NIV)
7 “Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.
I asked, it was given, I was seeking & found, & I knocked LOUDLY & the door opened!! So where does that leaves us now...We are now 20 days into our waiting for LOA, Letter Of Acceptance, which is us saying YES we want to adopt MSX specifically. This waiting period could be 1-4 months, BUT my agency said that most are receiving them in 2 months.  I'm on another website where people list where they are in the process of adopting...I saw one LOA of 33 days! So I am praying over that!  So again, I am asking & He will give, I will seek & I will find, & I will knock LOUDLY & the door will open, IN HIS TIME!
